VIDEO : Australia Might Ban Singer Chris Brown Over Domestic Violence Charges

Australia was facing pressure on Thursday to deny entry to American singer and hip-hop star Chris Brown, over his history of domestic abuse. Brown's California probation stemmed from a 2009 plea to assaulting singer Rihanna. It was revoked in February. However, public pressure is mounting to ban him from performing in four Australian cities in December. Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull recently pledged just over $70 million to combat violence against women. Also, at an event in Canberra that highlighted new government efforts to fight domestic violence, Australian Minister for Women Michaelia Cash urged Immigration Minister Peter Dutton to bar the performer.
