George Miller shocked audiences with Mad Max: Fury Road earlier this year. The director who made the original Mad Max and returned for both sequels might have created this world. But as it turns out, the film beloved for its crazy colors and over-the-top, mostly practical action didn?t look or sound exactly like Miller wanted. Miller reportedly said that post-apocalyptic movies tend to either desaturate the color pallet or ramp it up, but he actually preferred a third option: black and white.
