Donald Sutherland and ?The Maze Runner? actor Blake Cooper are set to star in the indie ?Measure of a Man.? The pic is an adaptation of the popular YA novel ?One Fat Summer? by Robert Lipsyte and will be directed by Jim Loach. Set in the ?70s, the pic will be a coming-of-age story about overweight, unconfident teenager Bobby Marks, played by Cooper, who experiences a turning-point summer in which he learns to stand up for himself. Sutherland is set to play Dr. Kahn, a Wall Street executive who gives the teen a summer job on his estate, and teaches him the importance of hard work, determination and self-respect.
