According to Variety, Chris Evans and Jared Leto are in early talks to join The Girl on the Train. Negotiations are still taking place, and schedules are reportedly being worked out. However, if the pair do officially sign on, Evans and Leto would play the husbands to the characters played by Rebecca Ferguson and Hayley Bennett, respectively. Emily Blunt, meanwhile, is lined up to play the film?s protagonist, while Ferguson is also taking on a key role in the narrative.
