After a critically acclaimed theatrical run, the Amy Winehouse documentary Amy will arrive on DVD and Blu-ray on December 1st containing unreleased bonus footage and other special features not included in the film. The home release will be accompanied by 17 "previously unseen scenes," as director Asif Kapadia calls them, from Winehouse's personal archives, including this two-minute-long clip showing snippets of the singer's pre-Back to Black visit to New York City. In the clip, a carefree Winehouse and her friend and former manager Nick Shymansky are seen having fun in New York. The pair pretend to be Russian tourists on an escalator and narrate a cab ride as they drive past the WWF Restaurant that formerly resided in the Paramount Theatre building on 43th Street and Broadway.
