Emilia Clarke was noticeably absent at the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards. The 28-year-old Game of Thrones star was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series alongside Orange Is the New Black 's Uzo Aduba (who won). Clarke, who was nominated in the same category in 2013, explained her absence via Instagram Sunday. She wrote in the caption "I think I might be late for the Emmys... How far is it from Spain?" Indeed, the actress is busy filming the HBO series' upcoming sixth season. Though Clarke missed Amy Schumer photobombing the Game of Thrones cast, there's one thing she didn't miss on the Emmys red carpet: the unbearable heat.
