Emily Blunt has reportedly been offered the role of Mary Poppins in the Disney remake. The 32-year-old actress - whose previous film credits include Into The Woods and The Devil Wears Prada - is wanted by the studio to play the central role in its much-anticipated remake of the classic story. Emily is likely to accept the invitation and it's possible she was offered the role a number of weeks ago, even though news of the project has only recently come to light, Den of Geek reports. The new Mary Poppins could be directed by Rob Marshall and will take place in London 20 years after the original movie.
