Bryan Singer took to Instagram to announce that his next project will be a new big-screen version of Jules Verne?s classic novel 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. According to the director?s post, he will receive a ?story by? credit along with screenwriters Rick Sordelet and Dan Studney, the latter of whom also worked on Singer?s 2013 release Jack the Giant Slayer. In addition to directing the film that launched the X-Men movie franchise in 2000, Singer has been involved in five other films in the series, including next year?s X-Men: Apocalypse.
