Zooey Deschanel, who recently gave birth to her first child, will be sitting out a few episodes of Fox's New Girl when it resumes filming in a few weeks ? but the comedy won't be for want of a female presence in the loft. The Hollywood Reporter confirms that Megan Fox has booked a recurring part on the upcoming fifth season. The Transformers actress, who got her start on ABC sitcom Hope & Faith, will appear in multiple episodes as pharmaceutical sales rep who rents out Jess' (Deschanel) room during a long business trip.
