Eva Mendes has been designing clothes for her New York & Company line for several seasons now, but one recent major life event has since shifted her perspective on what women want to wear: becoming a mother. E! News caught up with proud new mama to baby Esmeralda and chatted with Mendes about much her new September collection means to her. The actress said, "I think that being a mom now myself, I love dressing?not so much like a mom but there is a sexiness in kind of giving into the mom thing and that I'm dressing as an example for a little girl. Like, I'm someone's example!" The brunette beauty added, "That's exciting for me and I make clothes that I think are really beautiful for moms, for all women, but certainly for moms."
