Focus Features has moved the release date of ?London Has Fallen? back six weeks to March 4, 2016, from Jan. 22.
The Gerard Butler actioner, a sequel to 2013?s ?Olympus Has Fallen,? centers on an attack on London during the funeral of the British prime minister, who has died under mysterious circumstances. Butler will reprise his role as an ultra-resourceful U.S. Secret Service agent.
The sequel is directed by Babak Najafi from a script by Creighton Rothenberger, Katrin Benedikt and Chad St. John. Aaron Eckhart and Morgan Freeman also star.
