HBO is expanding its relationship with Judd Apatow. The Girls exec producer is set to direct and EP Crashing, a single-camera comedy pilot starring Pete Holmes, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. The comedy will begin production in November and marks the first pilot directing job for Apatow. The Girls EP has guest starred on Holmes' podcast, You Made It Weird, and also did a bit for his former TBS late-night show in which he pitched the Trainwreck producer a movie based on the story of his divorce.
