After debuting in the 1970s and becoming a hit television series, Charlie?s Angels, the show focusing on a team of three female private detectives, has been rebooted twice. In 2000, the series received a big-screen reboot directed by McG that starred Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu. However, the sequel, Charlie?s Angels: Full Throttle, was poorly received and ended the franchise.
