Los Angeles - Ellen Page is "in love".
The Freeheld star made her first red carpet appearance with girlfriend Samantha Thomas at the Toronto Film Festival and couldn't help but gush about the "special" day.
She told E! News: "Walking down the carpet holding my girlfriend's hand is pretty special. It's pretty awesome. I'm in love." Meanwhile, Ellen recently admitted the movie - in which she stars as Stacie Andree, who fought for the right to inherit her late partner Laurel Hester's pension benefits - inspired her to be more open about her own sexuality.
