Marvel's Jessica Jones ? the second of Netflix's four Marvel shows ? will debut on November 20th, 2015 and there will be 13 one-hour episodes. Netflix released the first teaser for the series, to accompany the date announcement. Based on the comic book Alias by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Michael Gaydos, the show focuses on Jones, played by Krysten Ritter, a former costumed superhero who is now working in New York as a private investigator. Jessica Jones is the second of four planned live-action Marvel adaptations coming to Netflix. Daredevil was the first, premiering on April 10th this year, with Marvel's Luke Cage and Marvel's Iron Fist both in production.
