VIDEO : Ben Foster Doped to Prepare for Lance Armstrong Film

To play the part of Lance Armstrong in Stephen Frear's new film the Program, Ben Foster experimented with drugs to see how they would affect the body. Foster said he did not want to mention the name of the performance enhancing drugs he took and would not recommend the same for other actors. The actor says he needed to understand how the chemicals affect the body as part of his investigation. Foster remarked last year that he ?lost his mind while making The Program. He says doping does not make you feel high. While the chemicals may serve you on the bike, the consequences off the bike are much greater.
