Some moviegoers may remember Jake Gyllenhaal from his early leading roles in films like October Sky and Donnie Darko back in the late 1990s and early 2000s. However, in the past decade, the actor has delivered some of the finest work of his career--including an Oscar-nominated supporting turn in Brokeback Mountain and memorable performances in films like End of Watch, Prisoners and Nightcrawler. In his next film, Demolition, Gyllenhaal plays recent widower Davis Mitchell, who is struggling to cope with his wife?s death in a fatal car accident. The film was directed by Jean-Marc Vallee.
