Sources have confirmed to Variety that Universal Pictures has acquired the pitch ?Schooled,? with Amy Poehler attached to produce. Erica Oyama will pen the script about a high-school teacher who goes through great lengths to gain her students? respect. Poehler and Brooke Posch will produce the film, through their Paperkite Productions shingle. Oyama has a handful of projects in the works, including ?White Girl Problems? at Lionsgate; ?Me Time? at Universal; ?Go the F to Sleep? at Fox 2000 and ?True Freshman? at Fox.
