This certainly isn't the first time we've been inspired by something Demi Lovato has said , but it might be the first time it's happened by accident. Before belting out her hit song "Cool For the Summer" during the MTV VMAs on Sunday , Demi was backstage pumping herself up with a motivational message ? and possibly unbeknownst to the singer, her microphone was on. The audio was picked up as MTV rolled behind-the-scenes footage of the Pepsi Stage in Downtown LA, and viewers were able to hear Demi repeating to herself, "I am enough" while prepping for her performance. Fans soon shared the heartwarming moment via Twitter, and Demi went on to slay the stage thanks to her incredible vocals and loads of confidence.
