Los Angeles - Andrew Garfield "couldn't save Spider-Man".
The 32-year-old actor was thrilled to land the role of Peter Parker and his alter-ego in The Amazing Spider-Man in 2011 but after a less than stellar reception and an upcoming reboot in the works, Andrew has admitted that the experience has left him disappointed.
He told Zaki's Corner: "I thought I was going to be Spider-Man, you know? I went into it going... ego shit came in. It's like, 'Okay, here it is. I'm bleeping Spider-Man. I bleeping made it. I didn't actually make it. I was never Spider-Man."
