Bill Murray finally agreed to return to the Ghostbusters franchise after speaking with Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig, the stars of the much-anticipated reboot. However, in early August, Murray was spotted in Boston, Mass., where the new all-girl Ghostbusters movie has been filming all summer, sparking speculation he had had a change of heart. Murray said that he's been thinking about the decision for years but time time finally came to change his mind when he saw the cast. He explained saying,
?It kept eating at me, and I really respect those girls. And then I started to feel like if I didn?t do this movie, maybe somebody would write a bad review or something, thinking there was some sort of disapproval on my part.?
