One of the most anticipated upcoming superhero/comic book movies is without a doubt Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. The online rumors have been flying faster than Superman himself and many fans are desperately scooping them up, trying to deduce and decipher every potential spoiler.
Recent statements from the man who played General Zod in Man of Steel, and his appearance in Batman V Superman?s San Diego Comic Con trailer sparked fan interest in the true fate of Zod. The man himself, Michael Shannon, is putting the rumors to rest once and for all?or is he?
Shannon is backtracking on his original comments and has now told The Daily Beast that he isn?t in the film?and then that he is:
?I wasn?t there. It?s a really awkward situation?I?m in the trailer for a movie that I didn?t work on. The thing about the whole Krypton universe, apparently, is that even when you destroy them, there are ghosts. The first [film], Jor-El is there even though he?s been dead for lord knows how long. I went over and did some voice-over stuff because it?s like that ghost thing. But I don?t know if I?m supposed to say that. I get very nervous.?
