In anticipation for their newsletter ?Lenny,? Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner have released a short story penned by Dunham called ?Six Sausages.?
Launching in September, Lenny will be a weekly newsletter by Dunham and Konner, Dunham?s production partner and showrunner of her HBO series ?Girls.? According to its website, the newsletter will cover ?feminism, style, health, politics, friendship and everything else.?
Dunham recently told Buzzfeed that Lenny will draw from her vast pool of celebrity friends for writings in the newsletter. but will also have pieces from its own staff members. Those include Jessica Grose, a former Jezebel writer and editor at Slate; Laia Garcia, associate editor and writer for Rookie; and Doreen St. Felix, who has contributed to Pitchfork, The Hairpin and Buzzfeed.
