Taylor Swift presented the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award to Kanye West during Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles ? and the rapper announced that he will eventually run for president.
"I have decided in 2020 to run for president," West stunned audiences at the conclusion of his speech.
When West first took the stage, he embraced a long applause from the audience before beginning his speech."Thank you, Taylor, for being so gracious and giving me the award this evening," West said. "I often think back to the first day I met you also," he said with a smile, while Swift and wife Kim Kardashian embraced, looking up at the rapper.
