Ryan Simpkins is joining Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler in the New Line comedy ?The House,? in which she?ll play their teenage daughter. ?Neighbors? writer Andrew J. Cohen is directing from a script he co-wrote with Brendan O?Brien. The project marks Cohen?s feature directorial debut; he previously directed short films and ?Funny or Die? sketches. Good Universe is producing with Ferrell and Adam McKay through their Gary Sanchez banner. 17-year-old, Simpkins, has been seen in ?Pride and Glory,? ?Revolutionary Road? and ?A Single Man.?
