Blood Brothers is the latest vampire film production to see significant attention from a major motion picture studio. Based on the comic book series published by Dark Horse Comics and written by Mike Gagerman and Andrew Waller, the new film was pitched to MGM as a cross between Ghostbusters and Men in Black, with its two vampiric heroes thrown into a crisis of apocalyptic proportions. The film centers on the blood-sucking duo of Nick and Tree, whose thousand-year-old friendship has hit the skids. And according to a recent report, MGM may have found at least one undead lothario to fit the bill, as Fantastic Four star Michael B. Jordan is reportedly in talks to play Tree.
