After a two-year absence, Brooke Burke-Charvet is returning to Miss America as the co-host of the 2016 competition. She joins previously announced co-host, ?The Bachelor?s? Chris Harrison, who has signed on for a seventh season emceeing the famous event. Burke-Charvet said she is interesting in meeting young women who want to make a difference in their communities while improving themselves. In addition to its ceremony suffering its lowest ratings on a broadcast network to date last year, Miss America became the subject of a particularly scathing takedown on HBO?s ?Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.?
