Though known to the world for his professional pursuits in acting, Bill Murray has a personal passion for poetry.
For the last 20 years he has joined the annual poetry walk across the Brooklyn Bridge, hosted by the Poets House.
Lee Briccetti, executive director of the library told Rolling Stone, "he loved hearing the poems about the city in the places they celebrate."
He has a peculiar affinity for Billy Collins, a former U.S. poet laureate.
Murray once introduced him stating, "it's difficult to know someone like Billy Collins, and most people that have met him give up rather quickly."
Of his only youthful poetry he has not shared with the world, Murray told Rolling Stone, "everything rhymed."
