Signaling a potential awards-season campaign, Sony Pictures Classics will release the drama ?The Meddler,? starring Susan Sarandon, Rose Byrne and J.K. Sony Classics did not disclose the release date for ?The Meddler,? directed by Lorene Scafaria (?Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World?) from her own script. The film will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions bought worldwide rights to the film prior to the start of the production and will distribute internationally.
