Today is Tim Burton?s 57th birthday. As one of Hollywood?s most iconic directors, producers, and writers, Tim Burton has left an unmistakable mark throughout his filmmaking career. However, comic book fans will obviously know him best for directing 1989?s blockbuster Batman film and its sequel, Batman Returns. And while he did not direct The Nightmare Before Christmas, he was a key producer in the popular Disney cartoon. And did you know that once upon a time, Burton was actually set to direct Superman Lives, starring Nicolas Cage? But that was before Warner Bros. canceled the film.
