The Independence Day: Resurgence actor welcomed a son, Charlie Ocean Goldblum, on the 4th of July. When he appeared on TBS' Conan Monday, he heard an "audible gasp" after mentioning his son's name. "Well, Charlie, that's, uh...and Ocean, that's a little out there," host Conan O'Brien told his 62-year-old guest.
"It is. But is it too out there?" Jeff asked. "I love the ocean."
"Oh, so you did name him after the ocean?" Andy Richter asked. I thought it might have been a coincidence." Conan joked, "Maybe you had a great uncle Ocean or something. I don't know. We just thought it was possible." Jeff joked it was inspired by Ocean Spray, to which Andy said, "Cranberries?"
"Delightful. Delightful. Horrible concoction!" the actor said of Ocean Spray. "You take that cranberry sauce out of that can and slice into slices. What a horrible, horrible dish! I'm sorry, Ocean Spray people!"
Jokes aside, Conan asked, "Are you good with the baby?"
"Yeah," Jeff replied. "I think so."
