He won't be going alone.
When Stephen Colbert begins his tenure at CBS hosting the Late Show, the Comedy Central veteran will do so with familiar faces.
Tim Purcell and Meredith Bennett, both colleagues from his time with the Colbert Report, will serve as executive producers.
Purcell will also contribute as a writer.
Colbert has been largely mum on the logistics of what the Late Show will look like, but he did recently imply that it will likely be quite similar to The Colbert Report.
He added while talking to reporters earlier in August, "CBS has asked nothing of me other than I fill an hour."
