Evangeline Lilly seemed poised to take up the Wasp mantle at the end of the Ant-Man movie. The 36-year-old Canadian actress portrayed Hope van Dyne in Ant-Man and fans are hopeful Lilly will play the character in Ant-Man sequels or other Marvel films. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige told Fandango in July the team has a "super cool idea for the next Ant-Man film" and will find room in the schedule if "audiences want it." He also said he's "sure we'll see various versions" of the Ant-Man and Wasp dynamic in future movies. Ant-Man opened in theaters July 17, and earned over $337 million at the box office.
