Ant-Man introduced two generations of heroes to fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and while the focus of this particular story was on Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) serving as a mentor to ex-thief Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and passing down the Ant-Man technology, another Avenger began her origin story as well. We knew from visiting the set of Ant-Man last year that the film would include a brief glimpse into the past where a young Hank Pym and his wife Janet van Dyne serve S.H.I.E.L.D. during the Cold War as the original Ant-Man and Wasp, respectively. We also knew the film would tease a future where a new Wasp ( Evangeline Lilly?s Hope van Dyne) could finally join The Avengers, but it?s not happening quite yet.
