Sharon Stone has signed on to star in Running Wild, a drama from ESX Entertainment, a newly launched producing banner that focuses on inspirational stories.
Wild is being financed and produced by ESX?s Forrest Lucas, who is the founder of Lucas Oil, andrace car driver-turned-producer Ali Afshar. According to ESX, the script centers on a widow who saves her ranch by working with convicts to rehabilitate a herd of wild horses that wandered on to her property. She faces prejudice, greed, bureaucracy and vanity ? including her own ? to finally understand that there is no better remedy to misfortune than helping another living creature.
The goal of ESX is to tell stories that are tied to the traditional and inspirational themes of the American dream.
