Drake?s official OVO Fest after-party at Muzik Nightclub in Toronto on August 3rd ended in tragedy. A shooting there left two people dead and three people injured. Nearly two weeks later, Drake broke his silence with a statement earlier today saying: "I am plagued and pained by the violence that continues to escalate in our city. I stare into the eyes of so many young people and I wish to see them all shine as bright as they possibly can in this lifetime." Drake encouraged his generation to value and and show as much gratitude as possible "for the lives we have been gifted."
