VIDEO : Is Spielberg Trying to Lure Gene Wilder Out of Retirement?

Celebrity in this news:

Steven Spielberg stays busy, both as a producer and a director. His Tom Hanks-starring Cold War thriller Bridge of Spies is set to be released this October 16, he?s in post-production on his Roald Dahl movie The BFG, and it?s been recently announced that his next project is going to be the film adaptation of Ready Player One.
Steven Spielberg stays busy and is consistent in his filmmaking and storytelling. Can he work that same magic off the screen? There is a new rumor floating around that Spielberg is attempting to coax Gene Wilder out of retirement.
Yes, this Gene Wilder. The last time Gene Wilder was onscreen was in 2003 with his final guest appearance on TV?s Will & Grace. Remember Will & Grace? People were into that once. The rumors of Wilder?s return at Spielberg?s behest aren?t solidly attached to any upcoming or current Spielberg movie. It?s very possible that Speilberg is offering Wilder the chance to voice a character in The BFG, which has already completed principal photography. Since Wilder played the iconic Willy Wonka (sorry, Johnny Depp), it would be nice to have Wilder reunite with Dahl?s material (Roald Dahl wrote both Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The BFG). It is also possible that Wilder could be eyed for a part in Spielberg?s Ready Player One movie, something Ain?t It Cool News
