Liam Neeson is expanding his horizons as he reportedly signs on to play a U.S. Army General Douglas MacArthur in Taewon Entertainment's upcoming Korean War flick. Variety reports that Neeson will play MacArthur in Operation Chromite, a historical drama covering the events which took place before the Incheon Landing Operation during the Korean War between 1950-1953. Operation Chromite will follow the story of eight Korean soldiers who participated in the covert "X-ray" operation before the historic military campaign that altered the momentum of the war. The movie is set to begin production in September.
