Winona Ryder hesitantly confirms that a 'Beetlejuice 2' film is definitively happening after director Tim Burton himself told MTV News the sequel is in the works. Winona said that the project's plans were supposed to be "very 'hush-hush, top secret" but that Tim Burton already confirmed the project and that she was going to be a part of it.
Actor Michael Keaton, which previously played the titular character, 'Betelgeuse', expressed interest in the sequel and Burton said he'd love to have the actor return as well.
