The Santa Barbara International Film Festival has selected Jane Fonda as the recipient of its 10th annual Kirk Douglas Award for Excellence in Film. The award will be presented at a gala dinner at Bacara Resort and Spa on Oct. 3. The 31st Santa Barbara festival will open February 3. Fonda won Academy Awards for ?Klute? and ?Coming Home.? She has won three Golden Globes, an Emmy and was the 2014 recipient of the AFI Life Achievement Award. Fonda will next be seen in Fox Searchlight?s ?Youth,? which debuted at Cannes, and also stars Michael Caine, Harvey Keitel, Rachel Weisz and Paul Dano. Fonda also stars in Netflix?s ?Grace and Frankie,? which is currently filming its second season.
