Beetlejuice 2 is one of those sequels that has been rumored for years, but has yet to come to fruition. However, that may change soon, as Beetlejuice director Tim Burton and screenwriter Seth Grahame-Smith have put together a fresh script for the project. Burton and Grahame-Smith have made it clear that Beetlejuice 2 won?t happen without Michael Keaton reprising as ?The Ghost with the Most'; meanwhile, Burton also previously indicated that Winona Ryder will reprise her role as Lydia Deetz from the first movie. Ryder has now confirmed the same, though at the same time she admitted to being largely in the dark, regarding the sequel. Grahame-Smith has reportedly finished his Beetlejuice 2 script, but Ryder noted during her recent appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers that she doesn?t know much more about the project than the general public does, at this stage.
