First it was Tim Burton and Michael Keaton, and now it's Winona Ryder. And any true Beetlejuice fan knows what happens when you say the name three times!
We're officially getting a Beetlejuice sequel!
Ryder makes three in the movie's confirmation, which she gave to Late Night With Seth Meyers Monday. "I think I can confirm it, because Tim Burton did this interview?like, it was very hush hush, top secret...and then he was doing some press for Big Eyes and he did an on-camera interview and he said, 'Oh yeah, we're doing it and Winona's going to be in it,' and I was like [shocked face]."
Both Burton and Keaton confirmed a follow-up to the 1988 film last year at separate events. The Birdman star previously told MTV News that he would sign back on to reprise his bio-exorcist role, but if, and only if, Burton directed the sequel.
