Stephen Colbert has announced that Kendrick Lamar will be his first musical guest on the ?The Late Show? this fall. Speaking at the Television Critics Association press tour on Monday, the TV funnyman said that it was only appropriate to welcome the rapper since Lamar was his last musical guest on ?The Colbert Report.? While talking with reporters about his upcoming show, which premieres September 8 on CBS, Colbert said, "All I really want from a guest is someone who has something to say so I can play with them. When you?re interviewing people you don?t know what?s going to happen. That?s how I learned my craft.?
