VIDEO : J.K. Rowling Says a 'Harry Potter' TV Series Isn't Happening

J.K. Rowling would sooner see Harry Potter on ice than a television show set in the young wizard's magical world.
While taking questions on Twitter about how the American wizarding world will work in the upcoming Potter spin-off film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the author ruled out any possibility of a TV series happening.
When a fan asked if a show was on the horizon, Rowling jokingly tweeted back "Right after the opera, Potter-on-ice and the interpretative dance version of Beedle the Bard #NotActuallyHappening."
