According to THR, Bill Murray, who played Dr. Peter Venkman in the first two films, will show up in the Paul Feig-directed film. Murray was famously hesitant to appear in the then-Ghostbusters 3 given the lukewarm reception to the 1989 sequel.
Instead of a male dominated cast, Feig's reboot stars a team of four ghost-busting women: Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, Kristen Wiig, and Kate McKinnon.
