Actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld released her first single, "Love Myself," on Thursday.
The 18-year-old star announced the upbeat song on Twitter, revealing she cried upon its release. Steinfeld later tweeted, "This is INSANE," after fans reacted positively and the track began trending on social media.
She signed a contract with Republic Records in May, and is working on her debut studio album.
Steinfeld came to fame after playing Mattie in True Grit, and went on to star as Juliet in a Carlo Carlei adaptation of Romeo & Juliet and Petra in Ender's Game.
