Another day, another Empire guest star announcement, and this is a good one.
Five-time Grammy winner Mariah Carey will be heading to the Fox music drama for season two, with the show's creator, Lee Daniels breaking the epic casting news at the ceremony for Carey's Hollywood Walk of Fame star on Wednesday. Carey was being honored with a star on the famous Walk of Fame just after completing a residency in Las Vegas when Daniels told the crowd to watch her on Empire. The singer had previously worked with Daniels on Precious in 2009 and Tennessee in 2008.
