Brazilian-born model Camila Alves became a U.S. citizen Tuesday.
The 33-year-old star celebrated her naturalization with husband Matthew McConaughey and their three children. Alves and the 45-year-old actor both marked the occasion by sharing a family photo on Twitter.
"Happy to say I now hold an American passport! McConaughey added, "Congratulations Camila on getting your U.S. citizenship today - another fellow and great American."
She and the actor share 7-year-old son Levi, 5-year-old daughter Vida and 2-year-old son Livingston.
