A familiar, freckle-faced teen is on his way to the stage ? Archie. Writer, director and producer Adam McKay has teamed up with Funny Or Die to produce a new musical that will bring together Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead and the Riverdale gang. The Archie comics have previously spawned several animated TV series since the 1960s. In 1990, NBC aired the TV film "Archie: To Riverdale and Back Again" and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa is writing a live-action movie based on the long-running comic.
