Former One Direction member Zayn Malik and singer Perrie Edwards have called off their engagement. A representative for Malik confirmed Tuesday that the couple had ended their engagement. Both Malik and Edwards are 22. The singers became engaged in 2013. Edwards is one of four singers in the girl group Little Mix. Malik left One Direction earlier this year to launch a solo career. He announced last week that he signed a recording contract to release music as a solo artist.
